Hi Guys!

So, the plan of having you guys vote for what this blog should be on didn't quite work out, as none of you voted, which is fine, but I'll be deciding what this blog should be on. I'll leave the poll up for another week if anyone does want to vote, but don't think you have to, it's completely optional.

I guess for this post, I'll talk about what I did today. I'm currently on Easter holidays, and today we (me and my family) decided to go to Broadstairs for a day out, as it was very sunny. We had a walk along the coast line and then had fish and chips, which was delicious. We then got ice-cream and a sea-gull nearly took my head off trying to steal mine, and finally, we went home. It was very fun! We also did an Easter egg hunt in the morning, although I did particularly badly and only got, like, two eggs.

Also, to everyone celebrating, hoppy (haha) Easter!  I hope you've had a great day! Tell me what you did in the comments, even if you don't celebrate Easter.

Bye!
Leila

P.S. Sorry for such a late post, I kind of forgot about the Sunday-posting rule already, whoops!

back!

...Hi.

So I haven't posted in ages, BUT I HAVE A REASON:
I have run out of ideas of what to post. Initially, this blog was for me to post things that have happened in my life. The problem is, I have a particularly boring life, and that is also a very wide subject to post things on. So, my solution to this problem is to ask you guys! (although there are like 2 of you).

Here is a link to a poll, on which I have created a list of subjects which I could base this blog on. However, if any of you guys have an idea not mentioned on the list, please leave a comment below, stating what that idea is.

Also, because last time i tried this, I didn't really have a time table or anythings as to what day I should post. From now on, I will try to post weekly, every Sunday. I don't know how well that will work out, but I'll give it a go.

Thank you for reading, and remember to vote!

Hello!

Halloween has come and passed, and I have enjoyed it to the fullest. In total I have carved 3 pumpkins, listened to too much Halloween music, made my Halloween costume, gone trick or treating, and eaten TONS of sweets. I had never been trick or treating before yesterday, and I had always wanted to go as Halloween is my favorite holiday. I went with 3 friends and we then went back to her house, watched spooky movies on Netflix and slept over. As I live in England, Halloween isn't that well celebrated (at least in my area), so we did have a few bad encounters along the way.All in all, it was really enjoyable, and even though I'll be fourteen next year, I still hope to go trick or treating again :) .

On the 6th, I have my German exchange partner coming over, and I am super excited for that. I have been e-mailing her and I've gotten to know her pretty well, but this is the first time I'll be seeing her in person. I'll definitely be writing lost of posts about that

Disappointing day

Hello,

Quite a disappointing day today, as I was supposed to be going to London but plans fell through and I am now doing revision for the 4 tests I've got next week.

I hope your day is going marginally better than mine is,

Leila :)

Moonrise Kingdom review

Hellooo again,

I would like to talk about a movie I have recently watched. I've heard people talk about it all the time on tumblr, and decided it was time to watch it. The movie was "Moonrise Kingdom", and it was one of the best movies I have ever seen.

To give a short summary, a girl meets a scout and they fall in love, so the scout decides to leave his troop to visit her. This leads to a series of events, some quite stressful and others very happy.

Overall, I would give this movie a rank of 8/10, and is probably up there in my favorite movies (including My Neighbor Totoro, Hugo, and many others). It was old fashioned (which I loved) and had an indie vibe (by the way, I have no idea what I'm talking about.).As you can probably tell, I like movies (a lot).

Here are a few screenshots and images found on Google:

I really, really enjoyed this movie and recommend it :D.

From,

Leila

P.s. I had no idea what I was talking about in this, so please excuse the terrible summary.

P.p.s. I do not write movie reviews, so to any movie reviewers out there, I apologise bringing shame to your career/hobby.

P.p.p.s. You may have realised I made my blog look pretty, and I am very proud of myself and pleased with it ^.^ .

I don't know what I'm doing

Hellooo

So apparently this is my first post, but I have no idea how to use this. I will figure it out, so just gimme time :D. Also, I have no idea what this "blog" (this doesn't count as a blog yet, does it) is based around, so stick around to find out (ooh the suspense).

Leila

P.s. I need to edit my HTML to make it look all pretty.

P.p.s. I also don't know if anyone's gonna see this, and if anyone does, hi to you ^.^
